USFSA Basic Skills Learn to Skate Program

Ages 4 1/2 to adult. Learn the fundamentals of figure skating earning USFSA recognition badges.

USFSA Club Membership

Skaters advance their skills during club ice sessions. Private instruction available to prepare for competition in Wisconsin, the Midwest and throughout the U.S.

       Young Skaters enjoy         performing in the Ice Show.

 

Exhibitions and Ice Show

Skaters of all ages perform in summer, fall and holiday exhibitions, and an end of the season ice show production at MCIC. 

 

 

Learn-to-Skate Classes

Classes are offered through
the Manitowoc County Figure Skating Club, at the Manitowoc County Ice Center for skaters age 3 - Adult.  Classes are 1/2 hour each and meet once per week.  Skate rental is available for $1.00 per class.

New skaters start in the following classes:

Age 3 - 6    Snowplow Sam 1 (Snowplow Sam are required to wear a bike helmet)Age 7+         Basic 1     

Class times: 

     Tuesday evenings:       Snowplow Sam 1           5:00 - 5:30 pm
                                             Basic 1                            5:30 - 6:00 pm

    Wednesday evenings:  Snowplow Sam 1           5:00 - 5:30 pm
                                             Basic 1                           5:30 - 6:00 pm

   Saturday mornings:        Snowplow Sam 1           9:00 - 9:30 am
                                             Basic 1                            9:00 - 9:30 am

All Learn to Skate participants are eligible to participate in MCFSC's Annual Ice Show!  Mark your calendars for this years show....
